In the latest update of France flood, River Seine’s levels rose further. Government's ‘Vigicrues’ flood monitoring body showed a slight increase overnight in the levels of the river in Paris. The level rose to 5.69 meters i.e, 18.67 feet. Seine's overflowing waters have engulfed riverside walkways. Swans are now swimming in places where there are usually pavements. Residents of Villeneuve Saint Georges have been greatly affected by the increasing water levels of the Seine. Some areas are accessible by boat only.
